Keokradong is the fifth highest mountain in Bangladesh and is located in Ruma Upazila, Bandarban, Bangladesh. Keokradong’s height is 3162 feet. At one time it was the highest mountain in Bangladesh. Although modern research has proven this information wrong. At present, the highest peak in Bangladesh is Sakahafong or Madak Tung. How to go to Keokradong
If you want to go to Keokradong, you have to go to Bandarban first. Vehicles of several transport companies leave for Bandarban every day from different parts of Dhaka. You can go to Bandarban by taking any one of the buses like Shyamli, Hanif, Unique, S Alam, Dolphin. These buses leave from Kalabagan, Sayedabad or Fakirapul for Bandarban at 10 pm or 11:30 pm. Non-AC bus fare is 550 Taka per person. AC Taka.
You can go to Bandarban from Chittagong. Pubali and Purbani Paribahan buses run from Baddarhat to Bandarban. These buses are rented at Taka 220 per person.
First you have to go the bus stand to travel Ruma Bazar from Bandarban City Bus stand with auto which costs 15 tk per person. The first bus to Ruma Bazar is at 8 in the morning. Try to catch the first bus and its Rent is 110 Taka. It will take 2.5 to 3 hours. In Ruma bus will stop in the market and complete all the necessary paperwork at the army camp with the guide. After the work of the army camp, you have to take a Land Cruiser jeep / moon car to Bagalek. Land cruiser has a capacity of 7/8 people and its Rent is 1600 Taka. Moon car rental 2000 Taka, 14/15 people can go.
Bagale will have to start the journey to Keokradong by submitting the necessary papers to the army camp. Take saline, dry food, water. About 8/9 km hike and elevation difference of Keokradong from Bagalek is about 2000 feet. Depending on the walk, it will take around 4 hours to reach Keokradong.

Day one: From Dhaka to Bandarban
Start Night bus journey from Dhaka to Bandarban.
Day one [day time]: Boga Lake from Bandarban
Get down to Bandarban in the morning and have a fresh breakfast. After breakfast, start the journey from Bandarban to Ruma Bazar by jeep. Arriving at Ruma Bazaar, Chander will leave for Bagalek with the permission of the army with the help of a guide. Spend the day relaxing in Boga Lake.
Day two: Keokradong from Boga Lake
Get up early in the morning, have breakfast and start your journey to Keokradong by 6 o’clock. This day is basically a 4-5 hour walk on a hilly road. Along the way you will see the shrimp fountain and Jhiri path. You can reach Keokradong by noon by crossing the high and low hills. Relax and spend the day at Keokradong.
Day Three: From Keokradong to Bandarban
Get up in the morning and leave for the purpose of returning fresh. Arrive at Darjeeling Para, have breakfast and go to Boga Lake. Take a break from Bagale, reach Ruma, have lunch and leave for Bandarban. Take a night bus from Bandarban to Dhaka.
