About Baldha Garden:
Baldha Garden is one of the ancient botanical gardens. It was founded in this part of Bengal by a private individual. In 1909, this garden was established. It is allotted into two units. The bigger unit is named Cybele. It is approximately rectangular with the northern side. It is about one hundred thirty-six meters in length and seventy-six meters in width. The tinier unit name is psyche. It is almost a hundred meters long and forty-five meters wide.
After 1971, the Department of Forestry of the new government started up to work with rebuilt vigor for its development. The Garden is presently supervised as a satellite unit of the National Botanical Garden.

The collection of the garden is categorized into seven sectors. It has about fifteen thousand plants defining six hundred seventy-two species. There are exotic and extraordinary plants.
